Physical computing schedule
April 16th to 18th, 2008 - from 10:00 to 17:00
Day 1:
- Welcome
- Introducing Arduino (the software and the hardware)
- Installing the software (Arduino, USB-serial driver, Maxuino/PDuino)
- Hooking up the hardware
- Uploading the firmware in Arduino
- Interesting areas of the board and general features
- Basic electronics
- Testing the setup with a simple switch

Day 2:
- Overview of switches and sensors and how to connect them
- Using MaxMsp and Jitter or Pure Data to read data in from the Arduino board
- Testing the setup with and audiovisual response
- Overview of actuators as LEDs, motors, transistors (relays) as possible output

Day 3:
- Individually or in groups we will work on some simple projects
These workshops are open for all HISK Candidates/Laureates and KASK students. Seats are limited.
