    Microphones
  • Dynamisch: usually for live vocal situations
  • Condensator: for studio instruments

  • Flash memory recorders: Edirol, M-Audio MicroTrack, Zoom
  • Sony minidisc recorders
  • DAT-recorders (digital audio tape)
  • Line input on your Mac will not work with microphones (no preamp)

  • MOTU Traveller: 8 outputs
  • RME Fireface 400 or 800: multi-outputs models, expensive, best quality
